MYREN engages in ample of tele-medicine meetings, conferences, and surgeries. As such, MYREN would like to promote the facilities offered over MYREN for the Medical group to take advantage of.

Medical Working Group is one of the leading research areas in Asia Pacific Advance Network (APAN). APAN is a non-profit international consortium established on 3 June 1997. APAN is designed to be a high-performance network for research and development on advanced next generation applications and services. APAN provides an advanced networking environment for the research and education community in the Asia-Pacific region, and promotes global collaboration in various Working Groups - Medical, HDTV, E-Science, Agriculture, SIP, Network Research, E-Culture, Middleware, Security and few more. APAN holds meetings, workshops, and conferences. Apart from this, APAN also arranges and organizes education and training workshops of various fields.

MYREN has plans of incorporating more medical related activities for the usage of the community. As such, this talk would provide a wider perspective to members in the medical field on the benefits of MYREN. Speakers will range from Medical field that have used these huge network for the purpose of medical and those involved in promoting tele-health. Members who attend this talk would gain a better understanding of the technology and how to use it through MYREN.
