Y.B Dato Seri' Mohamed Khaled bin Nordin, Minister of Higher Education will launch MYREN Cloud on the 27th of June at Mines International Exhibition Convention Centre. 

MYREN Cloud consists of several key services and applications for the benefit of MYREN community to leverage on to ease and assist their research and education activities. Services that will be launched are

1Video Bridge

1Video Bridge allows users to collaborate with each other easily using video conferencing tools. The facilities aim to help users connect with many people at the same time using many different end-points and desktop video conferencing technologies.  The VC Bridge extends video collaboration services to mostly all tertiary institutions, polytechnics, colleges and research institutes. Ultimately, the VC Bridge will become the backbone of the national video collaboration initiative. 

uCast

uCast aims to provide a sharing media platform which covers video, audio and images for the purpose of research and education. uCAst enables researchers and academicians to share and archive media online through the use of MYREN Cloud facility. Users on MYREN are able to upload and download media promptly to uCast.

Virtual Computing Lab

VCL provides broker access to lab computer on a university campus. The primary goal of VCL is to deliver a dedicated compute environment to a user through a web interface. This compute environment can range from something as simple as a virtual machine running productivity software to a machine running high end software

MYEU Link

MYEULINK is a project based in Malaysia and funded by the European Union (EU) with support from the Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE). MYEULINK has been raising awareness and understanding of the EU and its key policies among universities, government officials, decision-makers, the private sector, media, NGOs, and other interest groups in Malaysia.
