MYREN is a National Research and Education Network that is used by academia and research institutions for collaborative research.

Several of the largest universities in Malaysia are connected to MYREN.

It is linked to international research communities in Asia Pacific, Europe and North America via the Trans Eurasia Information Network 3 (TEIN3).

Researchers connected to MYREN are able to communicate and collaborate over the virtual work space with their counterparts in Malaysia and overseas at improved network performance and lower latency.
